Passing of Claude Le Corre, B.C.L., CIRC

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of our founding partner, Me Claude Le Corre.

Distinguished practitioner, skillful negotiator, excellent at making complex information accessible to his audience, Claude will leave an indelible mark in the field of labour relations.

After obtaining his law degree from McGill University, he was called to the Quebec Bar in 1970. Claude was a partner at large firms before founding his own in 1991 with our partner, Me Marc-André Laroche.

He bequeaths a dynamic professional family in a recognized boutique firm specializing in all spheres of labour law at the exclusive service of employers. He was an exceptional mentor for many and listened to the needs of his team members. Our firm is unequivocally a pledge of his entrepreneurial and visionary spirit and we will continue to perpetuate his vision.

Faithful to his values, including the sharing of his experience and knowledge, he developed the publication of the renowned monthly information bulletin Gestion Plus Info-Employeur. He has published numerous guides and manuals for business managers and has innovated by developing training workshops to support them.

Claude has advised employers' organizations during legislative reforms and was one of the spokespersons for the Quebec Employers Council (CPQ) on various parliamentary committees relating to the framework of collective agreements.

A brilliant lawyer of great rectitude and exceptional integrity, he was passionate about the practice of his profession.

Our deepest condolences to Mathieu, his son, who was a huge support for his father. Our sincere sympathies to all his family and friends.

He is also survived by all his friends in the towns of Ixtapa and Zihuataneo in the state of Guerrero, Mexico.
