Psychological harassment: the importance of managing incivility at work

New

In order to meet its obligation to prevent harassment and put a stop to it when such conduct is brought to its attention, the employer must be able to rely on its managers, who must foster harmonious, harassment-free relations between the members of their team, and intervene in the presence of inappropriate behavior.

This training, aimed primarily at managers, will enable employers to meet their obligation to provide harassment prevention training to their employees, including managers. However, it will not relieve the employer of its obligation to present its policy on preventing psychological harassment and handling complaints.
